Having to face the greatest deal in your life by yourself, I am once again remembered with the filipino quote,
Kaya mo ‘yan, ikaw pa.
When was the last time you have given credit to yourself by surviving your silent battles and the struggles you failed to open up to anyone?
Your eyes always sparked in the thought of people surviving theirs, the amazement of how a human can withstand pain — may it be psychological or physical.
Yet, why of all people, you are the one who belittles yourself with your own struggles?
A little reminder that you are also a human and you can also be vulnerable. To build up a strong facade only to break your insides slowly — give it a break, dear. You can be strong without invalidating yourself.
Because at the end of the day there will always be you,
